Crypties Awards: Recognizing Crypto Projects in the Bear Market

• The inaugural Crypties Awards were held in Miami on November 30, 2021, with Crypto Unicorns winning the Game of the Year award.

On November 30, 2021, Decrypt Studios held the first ever Crypties Awards gala in Miami, Florida. Hosted by Josh Ostrovsky, aka “The Fat Jewish”, the event saw presenters from a range of crypto projects honor nominees and award statuettes in nine different categories. The Game of the Year award went to Crypto Unicorns, with Katrina Wolfe accepting the Cryptie from presenter Avery Akkineni of Vayner3. Other nominees in the category included Stepn, Zed Run, and Blankos Block Party.

The following December, Art Basel in Miami hosted the second annual Crypties Awards, with a variety of sponsors, including Polygon, Filecoin Foundation, Lamina1, Async, BeetsDAO, The Gold Mask, Gem Set, Breakout, Anonymous, Infinite Objects, Ape Water, Decentralized Pictures, and Vault 721. The highlight reel of the event showcased the winners of each category, as well as interviews and on-stage panels.
